What Is A Fine Art Print?

For several years I resisted producing prints of my paintings, not because I had anything against reproducing my work on a larger scale, but because I was never really satisfied with the quality of the product itself.  Well, I’m happy to say that those days are over.

I’m now able to produce these paintings on the highest quality paper and with the best ink sources available.  This has allowed me unlimited opportunities to create fantastic high quality reproductions at very affordable prices.  My goal all along has been to make my paintings and diaries available to anyone who is connected to them without them being priced out of the opportunity.

What Are the Options?

Limited Editions On Canvas: Unlike most limited edition prints and even so-called Artist Embellished prints - I do all the work on these pieces me myself personally (as my wife says).  These are stretched onto heavy duty stretcher bars, ready for either framing or hanging as is.  I hand edge each piece , apply heavy duty sealer coats to the inks and sign in oil paints.  Each is numbered and personally dedicated to you on the back of the canvas and comes with its “Diary” and  Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Embellished on Canvas:  As with the Limited Editions, these are stretched onto heavy duty stretcher bars, ready for either framing or hanging as is.  I hand edge each piece, then apply a heavy duty  gel to every inch of the piece with my regular brushes adding textured brush strokes - by the actual artist!  This is rare in the print industry.  When that dries, I then highlight key areas of the painting with oil paint bringing it to life, then sign it in oil.  Each is numbered and personally dedicated to you on the back of the canvas and comes with its “Diary” and Certificate of Authenticity.

Fine Art Prints:  These prints are printed on textured archival 300 lb German Sommerset watercolor paper with 200 year archival inks. Basically, what that really means is that these are seriously high quality archival fine art prints. The listed sizes are image sizes and there is an extra 2 inch border for matting and framing. Each fine art print is embossed with my logo, hand numbered, titled and signed. I also personally dedicate each print and it comes rolled with its “Diary” and Certificate of Authenticity.
